Single Bromeliad

$80.00

Our Bromeliad (family Bromeliaceae) plant makes a wonderful gift for a novice plant-owner. Your Bromeliad will arrive in a classic ceramic pot and will be potted in a bed of moss and decorative stones. Bromeliads are resilient, striking houseplants that reward simple, consistent care.

Tips on how to care for your Bromeliad Plant:

  • Light: Bright, indirect light is best. Avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun which can scorch leaves.

  • Temperature & Humidity: Keep in a warm environment: ideal range 65–80°F (18–27°C). Protect from drafts and temperatures below about 50°F (10°C). Moderate to high humidity is preferred.

  • Watering: Many bromeliads have a central cup formed by the rosette. Keep that cup partially filled with fresh water, and flush it every 1–2 weeks to avoid stagnation and salt buildup. For potted soil, water sparingly: keep the potting mix lightly moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of the mix to dry slightly between waterings.
